In Iran: Guardian Council passes nuclear bill into law
His remarks came just hours after White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the launch indeed appears to be a violation of existing Security Council resolutions.

In making the statement, Earnest was responding to a hypothetical question regarding what the USA would do if the Iranians breached the deal.
She added that Ayatollah Khamenei was now likely to support Mr. Rouhani’s government in carrying out the deal, while also highlighting Parliament’s insistence on limiting access to military sites for global Atomic Energy Agency inspectors.
In Iran, engineers and technicians will have to begin mothballing centrifuges at the Natanz and Fordo enrichment facilities as well as retrofitting a heavy-water reactor in Arak. In addition, there are a number of Iranian officials whose visit would have been more logical since they have stronger ties with Moscow.
On the missile testing, Mr. Earnest said, “Unfortunately, that’s not new”.
The missile test is not a violation of the agreement. Ballistic missile tests by Iran are banned under United Nations Security Council resolution 1929 from 2010, a resolution that will remain valid until the July 14 nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers goes into effect.
Interestingly, after the test, the Iranian Parliament approved the agreement on Tuesday. Since they signed on in July, the Germans have expanded their trade with Iran 33 percent, making Germany Iran’s third largest trading partner.
The arms embargo is set to be lifted in five years, and restrictions on ballistic missiles in eight.
France has sent a 100-man delegation of salivating businessmen to Tehran.
Iran would also have to limit the amount of plutonium it produces in its nuclear reactors.
Sanctions relief promises to open Iran’s long-hobbled but resource-rich economy – it has the world’s fourth-highest oil and second-highest gas reserves – to foreign investment.
Other states, including India, Turkey, Austria and the UAE are all clamoring for deals in Iran. Only 2% have a great deal of confidence, and 18% have a fair amount of confidence, in Iran’s leaders.
Obama promised that if Iran cheated, the sanctions would instantly “snap back”.
Before coming to Syria, Hamedani was a key leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and led the crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in 2009, an act for which he was sanctioned by the European Union. These problems make the need for rigorous monitoring, inspections and communications about what Iran is doing in the nuclear realm even more important.
The West feared Iran wanted to develop nuclear weapons, suspicions Tehran denies.
In September, Republicans in the US Congress tried to sink the deal by voting on a motion of disapproval.
Under the measure, the Iranian government may stop adhering to the agreement if the global community does not drop sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

“It will take a bit of time, but it Iran already gearing up well”. “It won’t be before mid-2016 that we see actual deals being made”.
