Verizon’s yearly refresh of its exclusive DROID line is fast approaching. It was Verizon’s response to the iPhone 4’s initial exclusivity for AT&T’s.

Motorola and Verizon have announced a media event to be held on October 27 in New York City where the new highly anticipated Droid devices will be finally unveiled.

Motorola’s leaking so much information about the DROID MAXX 2 you’d think someone on the inside is secretly mad that their phone isn’t in the rumor mill as much as others’. Initially speculated to be launched on October 15, Geek Snack confirms that the handset will be released on October 27 through a special event. The Motorola Droid Maxx 2 feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by QUALCOMM’s Snapdragon 615 processor, paired with 2 GB of RAM.

The Motorola Moto X Play is a smartphone with a 5.5 inch, 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, a 21MP camera, and a 3630 mAh battery.

First let’s have a look at the Droid Turbo 2 which according to rumors will be fitted with a 5.43-inch QHD display that is just flawless for checking out the images and videos captured by the 21-megapixel main camera and the 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
