Have You Seen This? Bear invades Montana high school

Bears are popping up all over the place in Montana, but no one expected to see one wandering the halls of Bozeman High School.

Officials then opened hallway doors to outside and herded the bear out of the east side of the building. “They were keeping a good, safe distance”, Conwell told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.

Police arrived at the school immediately and directed students into classrooms before ushering the bear out, which only took them three minutes. (To be fair, he is the school principal.) I think it was time for a team project to bring all the students together – group trip to the grocery store to stock up on honey! It wasn’t aggressive while it was being herded away from the school by officers, Musson said. “They were the ones that were pushing the bear out”. “It was a nice, pretty black bear”, he added. Andrea Jones, a spokeswoman for Montana’s Fish, Wildlife and Parks Department said that the bear moved out of the area, but it will be monitored should it return. If this keeps up, we’re going to start lining all the entrances to our buildings with hidden bear traps. A pile of bear crap? Its mascot is, unfortunately, not a bear, as that would have been too ironic for words.
