Rumor buzz warriors in Nintendo land have been on high alert of late.

Nintendo NX games were premeditated by the developers in an attempt to bring gamers back to taking the video game giant seriously again, Latinos Health reported. “They also said Nintendo would aim to put industry-leading chips in the NX devices, after criticism that the Wii U’s capabilities didn’t match those of competitors”. We know that the NX is made up of a stationary console and a handheld controller, and that the NX will have cartridge-based games much like the 3DS (which further adds credence to a mobile handheld).
Macquarie Capital Securities analyst David Gibson believes the console could even launch the same year.
“I think unfortunately what ended up happening was that tablets themselves appeared in the marketplace and evolved very, very rapidly, and unfortunately the Wii system launched at a time where the uniqueness of those features were perhaps not as strong as they were when we had first begun developing them”, Mario creator Miyamoto said in an interview with NPR.
According to a new report the Nintendo NX is going to be a console-mobile hybrid, having both a console unit and a mobile unit, enabling users to have a unique experience at home and on the road. Additionally Nintendo has said that the NX will remove the traditional barriers of console gaming, making it a multi-platform device that bridges PC’s and mobiles as well as dedicated Nintendo hardware.

More importantly though, the chip included inside the software kit is thought to be “industry-leading chips”, according to sources familiar with Nintendo’s development plans. WSJ notes that the kit is utilized by third-party devs to “modify existing games for the platform or create new ones”.
