If your interest is piqued then head on over to the site and grab a ticket, but be prepared for a long wait.
More than 45,000 people are now in line to get access to the so-called “Most Exclusive Website” on the internet – and majority have no real idea of what lies beyond the entry line. Fine – scroll down for a video which explains all.
“The Internet was designed to be open and accessible; what if I made a website that was the antithesis of one of the defining qualities of the internet?” The website doesn’t track a visitor once they leave the page, either. Woe to those poor souls who’d been waiting all along. Foley wrote in a email to the Washington Post.
More than 300,000 people had tried to enter the site as of Tuesday, Foley said; only 55,000 have been let in.
Spoiler alert – don’t scroll down if you’re still in line! It’s an entertaining twist, although perhaps not worth camping near your closest web browser for more than a month. “That’s kind of their own fault”, Foley told the Daily Dot.

The website was first launched in March but gained a huge amount of attention within the last week. It later found its way to Reddit. (Runner-ups included purple.com, a 21-year-old site that literally consists of one purple screen, and watching-grass-grow.com, which is both literal and less than riveting.).
