Hispanic coalition: Take Trump off ‘Saturday Night Live’
In a letter addressed to NBC CEO Stephen Burke and SNL executive producer Lorne Michaels, the organization wrote, “NHLA is flabbergasted that Saturday Night Live (SNL) has invited Donald Trump to host the November 7, 2015 show”. Though the network announced it would no longer air Miss United States of America and Miss Universe beauty pageants, which Trump co-owned with NBC Universal, NBC later sold its share in the pageants to the presidential candidate.

“We are appalled that you would enable Trump’s hateful speech for nothing (more) than a ratings ploy and ask that you rescind the SNL invitation”, the letter read.
And when he agrees to appear in environments where he will certainly be spoofed, he comes across as easy-going and secure – a man who doesn’t particularly care what people think of him (even though he probably does, since everybody does).
Trump has used the words “criminals” and “rapists” to describe a few immigrants who are in the country illegally. “It’s always a great honor”, he said.
“I think it’s going to be good for them (NBC), it’s going to be fine for me, and you know it’s really very much of an honor when you can do a 60 Minutes or a Saturday Night Live”.
There’s evidence that Trump’s apparent fondness for Vladimir Putin is being reciprocated. One of those companies was NBC, which cancelled its contract with Trump regarding the show The Apprentice. Trump was also skewered in the season premiere’s opening sketch.
This will be Trump’s second time hosting the show, as he previously hosted “SNL” in 2004.
Just as Democrat favourite Hillary Clinton did with cast member Kate McKinnon earlier this month.

Trump has been ratings gold for almost every television outlet he’s touched since his presidential candidacy took off this summer, the main reason behind record viewership for the two GOP candidates’ debates in August and September. And more recently, he had no problem parodying himself on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.
