Justin Timberlake says wife Biel is his rock

Justin Timberlake sang and strutted his approach by means of his induction into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame on Saturday, doing vocal impersonations of soul singers Al Green and Otis Redding, acting on stage with Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, and joking with buddy Jimmy Fallon.

“This is the f– coolest thing that has ever happened to me”, the Mirrors singer said. “The Grammys are political. My favourite part about this city is we don’t apologise for who we are, and that’s who this city has taught me to be”. Timberlake’s 20-minute speech served as a tribute to the city that’s home to Beale Street, Stax Records and an epicenter of the blues, The Tennessean reports.

While he teared up in his speech, People reports that the singer has thanked his real Mrs. Timberlake, Jessica Biel, for being his “rock”. Where am I staying?’ And most importantly, ‘How do I get out of this?’ And in the event you do not consider me, you possibly can ask Justin himself.

“As his friend, I could tell you that this is such a big honour for Justin and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy”.

Timberlake was honored among an induction group that included Memphis musicians and performers like guitarist Scotty Moore, Alberta Hunter, and Al Jackson, according to the Associated Press.

Earlier, Timberlake also thanked the Memphians for his new honor in an Instagram post and said: “Thank you to my city and The Memphis Music Hall Of Fame for last night”.

Gushing over his lady love, Timberlake added that he loves Biel more than he could put into words and more than any song he could write.
