David Lynch Working on Memoir
According to The Guardian, David Lynch has announced that he’s going to be writing a memoir that will help get rid of a few of the “bullshit” that’s “out there” about him. Lynch writes the memoir sections, diving into his relationships and artistic endeavors.

“There’s a lot of bulls**t out there about me, in books and all over the Internet”, a statement from Lynch reads. “And I wouldn’t do it with anyone other than Kristine; she and I go way back, and she gets it right”. It will feature insights from Lynch as well as around 90 interviews done by McKenna with Lynch’s family, friends and colleagues. Grand Central Publishing has secured the USA rights to Life & Work, which will arrive in 2017.
David Lynch is the award-winning writer and director of many films, incuding “Eraserhead”, “The Elephant Man” and “Blue Velvet“. The American director will team up with journalist Kristine McKenna to produce an autobiographical study of his life and work.
The filmmaker, who is now working on a decades-later sequel series to his groundbreaking 1990-91 “Twin Peaks” on Showtime, will probably time the book’s release with the expected 2017 premiere of the new episodes.

No word yet on a release date for “Life And Work”, but I’d wager it’s still a couple of years away.
