Without a doubt, the event is about the launch of their new OnePlus X mid-ranger, a smartphone that made the headlines in the past few weeks.

Rumors finally confirmed – OnePlus has announced an official lunch data for its newest phone: the OnePlus X. So it’s still not clear whether the October 29 announcement is referring to a OnePlus X or a OnePlus Mini.
The 32GB OnePlus device might be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
OnePlus X screen size and resolution: The OnePlus 2 sported a 5.5-inch 1080p display, but OnePlus X being a compact smartphone, it is expected to come with a slightly smaller 5-inch 1080p display.
According to the One Plus co-founder Carl Pei, the company is now working on its second phone dubbed as OnePlus 3 that will come out before the end of 2015.
Notably, the phone is said to also be one of the first smartphones outside Google’s recently launched Nexus devices to feature the latest version of Android aka Marshmallow.
Meanwhile, folks at GForGames has apparently picked up the key OnePlus X specifications leaked via China’s TENAA listing.
Keep in mind that the measurements are not properly visible, so the length and breadth of the OnePlus X still remains unknown.
The firm has also given the news on its Chinese internet site.
OnePlus may not be able to get you its current phone, but that isn’t stopping the company from hawking another.

Also expected is a USB Type-C connector with Quick Charge 2.0 capabilities, FM radio, an MT6630 wireless SoC, Bluetooth 4.1, an IR Blaster, a 1.2W front-facing speaker, and an NFC chip that supports Android Pay. Foxconn had also earlier pledged to invest Bn in India as part of Make In India campaign. There will be a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 camera on the front which comes with features like 4k video recording, dual-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
