National Football League to host public hearing regarding relocation of Chargers

The National Football League will be heading out to each of the three current National Football League cities whose teams are expected to put in bids for relocation to Los Angeles. The Post-Dispatch reports the forum on October 27 will give residents a chance to provide feedback to members of Commissioner Roger Goddell’s staff before any decision is made. It was not disclosed whether Goodell himself would be there.

The National Football League will hold a public hearing at the Peabody Opera House on Tuesday, October 27th.

Ultimately, there’s not much the fans in St. Louis, San Diego and Oakland can say to convince their teams not to move. The St. Louis hearing will take place from 7 -10 p.m. Admission to the hearings is free, but members of public wishing to attend will be required to pre-register with the NFL.

Entry passes are being reserved for Rams season-ticket holders on a first-come, first-serve basis. But members of the community who are not season ticket members also will have the opportunity to request passes on a first-come, first-serve basis.

– Online pre-registration and a non-transferable entry pass with a valid barcode is required for entry. Written comments may be submitted to [email protected] tomorrow through November 13, 2015.
