The Adelaide Crows are expected to hold further emergency meetings on Saturday as police continue examining the crime scene in a western beachside suburb. His wife, Meredith, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An ice link is reportedly being probed in connection with the alleged stabbing murder of Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh.
The news rocked the AFL community, with Sunday’s match between Adelaide and Geelong cancelled.
Witnesses to Cy Walsh’s early-morning arrest heard elevated voices, vehicle doors slamming, but bizarrely, the sound of a man laughing before they ventured outside their homes to see what was happening.
“We just said to them (Pendlebury and Hodge), win lose or draw let’s get together and try to show, that despite the fact we’d been fierce warriors who had played against each other for the previous three hours, we come together as one and acknowledge Phil”, Clarkson said.
“It was a moment that will forever be etched in my mind as one of the more telling and touching tributes”, Fagan told Triple M Adelaide.
“The Adelaide Crows grace the Adelaide Oval, where we will be playing in two weeks’ time”, a club statement said.
This morning, Phil Walsh’s 26-year-old son Cy Walsh was reportedly transferred to a secure mental health facility in Adelaide, James Nash House.
Cy Walsh is charged with the murder of the 55-year-old AFL career coach, who was in his first year in charge of the Crows.
An emotional Adelaide CEO Andrew Fagan and club chairman Rob Chapman fronted a media conference on Friday afternoon and spoke of the club’s grief.
When asked about his reaction towards the crime committed against a high profile personality, the superintendent said how it was “absolutely bad when families are torn apart in such tragic circumstances”.
Walsh played 122 games for Collingwood, Richmond and the Brisbane Bears between 1983 and 1990 before turning to coaching. David Mariuz/Getty Images Phil Walsh was killed in his Australia home, allegedly by his son, early Friday.

“I have lost half my family in a blink of an eye, nothing will be right with the world again”. Crows supporters brought flowers and cards and paused to pay their respects, while some fans left Crows’ uniforms and scarves.
