Next month, Aziz Ansari will debut his brand new Netflix show Master of None.

Ansari’s show will be his third collaboration with Netflix – the first two being standup specials (2013’s Buried Alive; and Aziz Ansari: Live at Madison Square Garden from earlier this year). For where his parents’ generation might have wondered who should pay for dinner, Dev is gallantly springing for a morning-after pill for his girlfriend (Noël Wells). Check out the Master of None trailer below!
Ansari took to Twitter answer fans’ questions about the trailer and upcoming comedy series. Along for the ride are a gathering of comedy types you might know, including H. Jon Benjamin, Eric Wareheim, Noel Wells and Ravi Patel.
The comedian created the show with the help of former Parks and Rec co-producers Michael Schur, Alan Yang and David Miner. If you go back far enough, we’re all 1/16th something. As the official synopsis puts it, our protagonist “has trouble deciding what he wants to eat, much less the pathway for the rest of his life”.

Masters of None will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, November 6, with the first season presumably made available at once as per Netflix’s business model.
