Lorde to play Saturday Night Live

At least one member of The Hunger Games’ cast was likely to host the show this fall, as the movie’s final installment hits theaters November 20.

Elizabeth Banks will make her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut. She is also coming off directing and starring in “Pitch ideal 2” and a critically-acclaimed role in the film “Love and Mercy”.

English electronic music duo Disclosure will join her as musical guest on November. 14, which will also be the band’s first time on “SNL”.

Disclosure will not be alone on stage; NBC adds that vocalists Sam Smith and Lorde will assist with “Omen” and “Magnets“, respectively.

Kiwi songstress Lorde has announced she will perform on the popular U.S. television show Saturday Night Live next month. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
