Phone App Review: "Dubstep Arena"
The phone application network is becoming so saturated with crap and I have taken it upon myself to review apps as a personal hobby. My main motivation for reviewing apps is to rid the network of spammy and subpar applications. Nothing is worse then wasting 10 minutes of your time on a crappy phone app that shouldn’t even probably be available. I hope to do bring valuable info to the consumer market with my personal reviews.

Today’s app goes by the name of “Dubstep Arena.” I happen to be a music fan that enjoys dubstep melodies and mixes. For those that are unaware, dubstep is just a newer style of music mixed with lots of bass and almost always electronically created through computer devices. The popularity of the genre is mind blowing but beside that topic, the applications are also getting more traffic due to popularity.
Getting Running and Setup
Upon opening the app, I wasn’t told to sign up for any membership or spammy like newsletter. I wasn’t begged to sign up for a pro membership of paying either. The setup and running of the app is flawless. One click away and I’m in the heart of using this app. My only question now was… what is the app for or what does it do?
Navigation in the application lead me to different tabs explaining that I could search for music based on what’s popular, most enjoyed, and what’s newly uploaded. Knowing I already like dubstep music, I wanted to steer right to “what is liked the most” by others. Most of us know these hot 100 lists and most popular only consist of the best music so I wasn’t to waste time. The app informs me of that action being a paid version of the app. Being restricted on that tab already had me ready to buy this app. Evil or brilliant… It’s working into my pocketbook.
Useful and Purpose of Claim
The app is going to give me favorite songs of people that also share the same passion for dubstep music like I do. For one, I burn hours of time searching for new music a day.. And this app is just going to tell me these new songs. It seems to unlikely but after browsing I find out its completely true.
This app is like a mini iTunes music player that only has dubstep music. Have I died and gone to heaven? I’m trying not to get too excited yet because I’m a very critical person. I’m still looking for flaws here because it seems too good to be true.
Other Reviewers Agree Too?
It seems the early beta testing of this app appeared to have some issues with load time and working properly. That’s a shame because its hurting the rating of this beautiful app today. I can’t find any issues beside the minor player glitches of having to wait a couple seconds for a song to play but you would get that with any music player.
Do You Recommend this App?

I’m not usually too on board with applications but this is a music junkies dream. These programmers need to get together and create these apps for all of the genres out there. I would imagine rap music would be a hit sensation. I can’t imagine the difficulty of finding this music for your ease of streaming it free though this app though. That copyright stuff confuses me and best out of my hands. Long story short, this app is awesome and I’m a paid version happy customer.
