Police release name of man who died while rock climbing
Police have identified the deceased as Glen Rizio, 45, of Sunderland.

The Bennington Banner reports that the 45-year-old man from Sunderland was found dead at just after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Rizio was hiking with a friend and wearing the appropriate safety gear, troopers said.
The man’s name was not released. Police said the man’s body was found near a known rock-climbing area.
The investigation into the death of the victim is ongoing, but initially it is believed to be accidental in nature, police said.

State Police, the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, the Dorset Fire Department and the Manchester Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
