Han, true to his nature, will be a gunslinger in Star Wars Battlefront and incredibly easy to get into.

Along with previously announced “hero” characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett, each of the three new additions to Battlefront come with personalized fighting skills.

There’s no confirmation that these are all of the heroes, but you’ll note that all of them are based purely on the characters’ appearances in the original trilogy. For distributing power-ups to fellow Imperials and boost the health of other villains, he uses the Imperial Resources ability. Players that spawn near Leia will spawn as Alderaan Honor Guards instead of their usual uniforms. The mode will be a 6 vs. 6 battle with three players on each side controlling heroes and villains while the others control troops from the rebel alliance or the imperial army. Indeed, Han is all about shooting first and asking questions later, with his abilities focusing on getting in and doing a lot of damage, and still having a lucky escape up his sleeve. They’ve got Emperor Palpatine himself who can chain Force Lighting for area of effect attacks and use Force Dash to clear great distances.

It’s a shot of Princess Leia herself, Carrie Fisher, in the embrace of Harrison Ford’s Han Solo. Her Trooper Bane ability let’s her fire a powerful blaster shot that will kill a Stormtrooper in one hit, or severely damage and stun a Villain. We haven’t yet heard whether players taking on the role of Vader will have the chance to chuck Palpatine down a reactor shaft, in true Return Of The Jedi style.

The recent open beta for Star Wars Battlefront gave gamers a taste of two different multiplayer game types as well as the co-op Missions mode.

Shoulder Charge – “Both an offensive and defensive move and can be used to quickly get in to battles but also out of them”.
