He was due to fight AmericanDustin Diamond Poirier in the lightweight contest. I sat back and talked with my coaches and this is the decision we made.

Poirier has been on a tear following his move up in the division with knockout wins over Yancy Medeiros and Carlos Diego Ferreira, while Duffy has showcased the diversity and improvement in his game since his UFC debut last March. “The way I see it, I’m from Hawaii and we’re always down to fight”.
