Arizona Wildcats can’t complete comeback, fall to Washington State
Baker added a 7-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to keep the Wildcats within reach at halftime. The Cougars recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and Falk struck for his fourth touchdown pass of the half. River Cracraft reeled in eight passes for 102 yards.

Instead of coming up with a key defensive stop, the Wildcats allowed Falk and the WSU offense to run a fateful 11 play, 5:58 scoring drive.
The Arizona Wildcats take on the Washington State Cougars today in a game on the Pac 12 college football schedule which sees both teams entering the day in the midst of two-game winning streaks, one of which is about to get broken.
Falk passed for 186 yards in the first quarter as Washington State led 14-0 on two touchdown passes to Marks, a 6-yarder and a 43-yarder on a catch-and-run screen pass.
Washington State led 38-21 in the third quarter, but Randall led Arizona back. The Wildcats close the season at Arizona State and need to find one more win to become bowl eligible.
Player(s) of the game: The duo of Falk and Marks were fantastic.
Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez then opted to bring Randall into the game for starter Anu Solomon.
Arizona attempted to replicate last year’s heroics, as the Wildcats marched down the field and answered on a 20 yard touchdown reception from Jerrard Randall to Johnny Jackson. On his second, after a Washington State punt, he drove Arizona 80 yards on 11 plays and found Cayleb Jones for a 3-yard touchdown to make it 38-28. Jeff Worthy also had a strong game, compiling five tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks.
The Odds: Arizona is a 7.5 point favorite against Washington State.
Randall finished with a pair of touchdowns, while running back Jared Baker ran for three touchdowns.
Falk had 335 yards and four touchdowns on 30-of-38 passing in the first half, helping Washington State build a 31-21 lead.

And with it, he’s thrown the Cougars into the mix for the Pac-12 North title.
