Ramsey ruled out with hamstring injury

Ramsey has been ruled out of action for a month after pulling his hamstring in Arsenal’s midweek win over Bayern Munich with Premier League game at West Brom on November 21 a likely return date for the Welshman. Even with those precious three points under their belt, qualification from Group F remains in major doubt.

Arsenal generated the second-highest revenue from gate receipts in Europe previous year, according to new figures released by Uefa.

The Belgian faced Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham twice last season and failed to net a single goal in these 12 fixtures.

At roughly the quarter pole mark in the season, Arsenal has figured out its best XI, Cech looks like the best shot stopper on the planet, Walcott looks like a proper center forward, and Wenger looks like a genius – at least until the Gunners’ next crisis.

Having seen Aaron Ramsey succumb to a hamstring strain on Tuesday night, Wenger will be contemplating whether or not to rotate his squad. They are also boasting a four game win streak in the Premier League that includes a 3-0 pounding of Manchester United.

The stingy Gunners go for a fourth straight victory Saturday when they attempt to continue their home dominance of Everton. Wenger left Mesut Ozil on, took Alexis Sanchez off and then enjoyed watching Ozil knock the ball over the line.

Indeed, it was Arsenal who had the better chances in the first half when Nacho Monreal’s cross was powerfully headed towards goal by Theo Walcott, only for Manuel Neuer to come up with a stunning save to again show why he’s rated the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment. After opening the scoring against Bayern, he’ll feel he’s deserving of a chance in the team. Olivier Giroud came on for Walcott and made nearly immediate impact with a goal. It is expected for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain star with first XI, while Gabriel is out of hospital and available after surgery, but it unlikely to start.

“You gain credibility through consistency and when people think this could be a game where we could slip a bit and you respond in a positive way”.

Cleverley played for an hour in the club’s under-21 side as they lost 1-0 at home to Schalke in the Premier League Intercontinental Cup at Goodison Park on Tuesday; a match in which Steven Pienaar and Bryan Oviedo also stepped up their recoveries from injury problems.
