Daniel Craig says James Bond teaches you nothing, but shares behind-the-scenes

Naomie Harris, who plays Eve Moneypenny, added: “In one way it’s great because we’re protected – when people go missing you can track their whereabouts and that’s really fantastic – but it’s just if it gets into the wrong hands”. The actor reportedly fell into a jealous rage when someone pinched his girlfriend’s bottom. “Let’s not forget that he’s actually a misogynist”, he quipped.

“Bond is what Bond does”, Craig said.

Speaking about needing knee surgery after seriously injuring his knee while shooting a fight scene on a train with 6ft 6in baddie Mr Hinx (Dave Bautista), he said: “Sadly the scene isn’t in the film”.

Speculation has swirled that it will be Craig’s last film as James Bond ever since the actor told Time Out magazine that he would only make another Bond movie “for the money”.

As for when he’s going to stop playing Bond he says he still doesn’t know. Craig seems to have caught on to these faults of the character, and notes that – while entertaining – theres nothing admirable about them.

Daniel Craig was forced to point out the ridiculousness of referring to his female co-star in Spectre as an “older woman” despite being nearly the same age as him.

The Take That singer gushed about the James Bond star’s impeccably good physique and said he’s someone you just want to look at “a lot”.

“I think also there are other things I love and things I’d like to do”.

After this, when asked if he is the kind of guy who sticks around, Craig replied “well, I’ve been married for four years” and left it at that.

Starring alongside Monica Bellucci, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes, Craig, 47, reprises his role as the MI6 agent on a new mission which takes him to Mexico City and Rome with Sam Mendes directing. This will be his fourth turn as 007, and he’s made it known he isn’t interested in jumping into the role again after saying, “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists”.

Craig also talked about the personal toll of making James Bond movies.

“Tomorrow Never Dies”, with its plodding BMW product placements and goofy plot about a media baron hell-bent on world domination, is one of the worst Bond movies.
