Less reliant on computer generated graphics, there’s praise too for director J.J. Abrams’ take on the Star Wars universe.
This is clearly one of the most important films of the year, and perhaps our generation, so emotions definitely come into play while watching this new extended trailer.

Inevitably, the reappearance of Star Wars in time for the festive season will spawn a whole range of toys, games and memorabilia.
Star Wars, created by George Lucas, has grossed more than US$4.4 billion globally since 1977 with six films.

Other footage, including a behind-the-scenes reel shown at Comic-Con, have left fans hungry for more and the full-length trailer is the most substantial insight into the finished movie so far despite it giving little away about the plot.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has broken the all-time record for the most pre-sale cinema tickets in its first day on sale.
Twitter said there were more than 17,000 tweets a minute when the trailer aired Monday night and over 1.1 million tweets since then. The Fandango rep also had this to say about the record-shattering ticket sales. But demand crashed such popular buying sites as Fandango, Alamo Draft House and AMC.
