Prior to his victory parade, the host of The Tonight Show wrote on Instagram, “Today I will be receiving the Elmer Award from the Harvard Lampoon, tomorrow I will not”.

Jimmy Fallon had an eventful Saturday: He paraded through Harvard square on a chariot, accepted a Harvard Lampoon award and was reportedly hospitalized.

Another attendee caught the whole thing on camera, showing Fallon falling as he was walking around with a bottle of Jaegermeister in his hand.

“Jimmy went to the ground, and everybody asked if he was OK”, a parade-goer added. He was later seen in photos partying with a bandaged right hand. According to E!, onlookers reported he tripped over a young woman who was kneeling, but when he got up, “He said he was fine”.

“Jimmy Fallon was required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning”, the star’s rep told E!

You can see in the video, Fallon is carrying a bottle of Jagermeister, and as he falls, you hear it smash.

His hand, it appears, has mostly recovered from the incident.
