During practice Friday morning, forward Jaden Schwartz slipped and collided with a goal post during a drill.

Through seven games in 2015, Schwartz has a plus/minus of +4 and has accumulated four assists while serving on the team’s second line.
“Obviously he couldn’t finish practice, so that’s the first alarm bell that goes off”, coach Ken Hitchcock told the Blues’ official website. Hitchcock said Fabbri and Shattenkirk won’t play Saturday, but could return to the lineup on Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.

RW Ty Rattie was in the St. Louis lineup after being recalled from Chicago of the AHL. “He’s on that cusp of being an National Hockey League player, and I don’t think he’s going to miss the opportunity to come up and play right now”.
