Glen Rice Jr. shot in leg at restaurant owned by TI

Atlanta police officers responded to a Sunday night shooting in downtown Atlanta that stemmed from an argument at Scales 925, the restaurant for which Atlanta actor-rapper T.I.is a co-founder and principal. They also claim to have footage showing the suspect running from the scene of the crime and allegedly dumping a gun in a stairwell before climbing into the Porsche.

The report goes on to say that Rice Jr. was picked up by someone driving a black Porsche, and they eventually stopped near several policemen and told them that Rice Jr. had been shot but that they didn’t know by whom. Former National Basketball Association player Glen Rice Jr. was involved in the brawl, and wound up injuring his leg after getting caught in the line of gunfire when the altercation in the parking lot escalated. The police are still investigating whether the Smith and Wesson revolver Rice Jr. alleged dropped while fleeing from the scene is stolen.

The Vipers have not released a statement on Rice’s arrest at this time.

According to a report from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Glen Rice Jr. was injured during a scary incident at an Atlanta nightclub Sunday. Pryor was arrested and charged and Rice was also arrested for permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle. He was selected out of the D-League, though, after his dismissal from Georgia Tech.

This next part is from the police report itself. Police haven’t found the shooter, but have charged Rice with “reckless conduct and possession of marijuana (240.4 Grams)” and found a bag of his with $5,953 in it. According to Net Worth Portal, Rice had an annual salary of $496,000 when he played for the Wizards and his net worth as of 2014 was $1.2 million.
