Henry Czerny Cast as Toyman on Supergirl

It was recently revealed that CBS’ Supergirl was looking for an actor to play Toyman, and they’ve now chosen Mission: Impossible and Revenge actor Henry Czerny to take on the role of the iconic Superman villain.

According to the report Czerny’s Toyman is Winslow Schott, Sr., the estranged father of Kara’s co-worker Winn Schott.

“Supergirl” will face off against one of DC Comics most notorious supervillains, the Toyman, during her first season of action. Before that, however, hell attempt to reunite with his son Winn, who is Karas CatCo coworker and close friend.

Comicbook.com broke the news, reporting that Czerny is now only set to appear in one episode as the supervillain who also turns out to be the father of Jeremy Jordan’s Winn Schott.

Toyman joins other announced “Supergirl” villains including Non (Chris Vance), Dr. T.O. Morrow a.k.a. Red Tornado (Iddo Goldberg), Livewire (Brit Morgan) and Reactron (Chris Browning).

Supergirl flies to CBS tonight, October 26, at a special time of 8:30/7:30c, and will then air at it’s regular timeslot of Mondays at 8/7c.
