Dog Called Trigger Shoots Owner In The Foot
But for one unlucky canine named Trigger, the moniker became too real when the dog accidentally shot its owner on Saturday.

It’s not uncommon for hunting dogs to have clever names relating to hunting.
The incident happened Saturday morning at Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area.
A Northern Indiana woman was shot in the foot and is recovering after going hunting with her dog.
That’s when Carter’s 10-year-old chocolate Labrador stepped on the shotgun, WANE says.
Allie Carter, 25, laid her 12-gauge shotgun on the ground without the safety on while hunting for waterfowl at Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area in North Webster.
Carter reportedly did not complete a hunter education course, and the DNR said the shotgun’s safety was not on.
Officials are now urging people to familiarize themselves with the mandatory safety procedures.
Ms Carter, who had not undertaken a hunter education course, needed hospital treatment for her injured left foot but was later discharged.

She was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital and later transferred to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
