FA charge Jose Mourinho with misconduct following West Ham farce
The Football Association charged Mourinho with misconduct for his half-time rant at referee Jonathan Moss and refusing to leave the match officials’ room during the defeat to West Ham United last weekend.

Chelsea’s form this season has been a source of concern for a few time, but the manner in which Mourinho and his players are conducting themselves is viewed as a greater problem by the club’s hierarchy – who are aware that a few refereeing decisions have not been favourable this term.
Both West Ham and Chelsea were also charged with failing to control their players during incidents at the end of the first half of the London derby at Upton Park.
All parties have until Thursday at 6pm to respond to the charges, which are likely to ensure Mourinho’s relationship with the FA deteriorates further.
The three Chelsea charges follow on from this month’s punishment of Mourinho for his assertion, after a home defeat to Southampton, that referees are “afraid” to award his side penalties.
His assistant first-team coach, Silvino Louro, was also dismissed, when Matic was red-carded.
If found guilty, it would not trigger the stadium ban, which relates specifically to media comments.
Mourinho faces a huge week which could decide his Chelsea future, starting with tonight’s Capital One Cup last 16 tie against Stoke.
Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are shocked to hear the latest developments concerning their manager, after a Ligue 1 side confirmed an approach.
Next Cesc Fabregas thought he had scored from Willian’s pass, only to be adjudged offside.
Moss was the fourth official at the time, and Jose is of the belief that if the roles were reversed he would have been duly punished by the FA. It was an unnecessary challenge in the circumstances as defenders were covering.
The sequence has seen Chelsea beat Aston Villa, draw at Dynamo Kiev and lose at West Ham.
