Spectre will be released in theaters on November 6.
Viewers of the show were also unimpressed with Powell, calling her “childish” and “undermining,” and dubbing the interview the worst ever. That legal detail is unlikely to stop him breaking free of his 007 obligations, seeing as he recently confessed that he’d rather slash his wrists than play the secret agent again. “At this moment I am enjoying this”, he told Sky’s Lucy Cotter. We’re done. All I want to do is move on… That’s all I could give… I’m just like everybody else … “Now all I care about it getting the film in front of an audience. Make it better, that’s all”.
In the last fortnight, rumours have maintained that Craig has reversed his position and signed up for two more Bond films. “But as I said, I reserve the right to change my mind”, he explained. “Go on, show me it, show me it?” They’d all be in there. “I went up for the gig and didn’t get it!” he said. “I would have been totally at peace with it”. Recalling his favourite iconic Bond moments, he said: “Robert Shaw was my favourite in From Russian Federation With Love, and I think that auto jump in The Man With The Golden Gun is probably the most spectacular”. Of course, if you crave consensus and uniformity as much as our comments section, you’ll just believe he’s insane, but maybe, just maybe, you’ll have to judge for yourself. Bond is very single- minded.
The Times also awarded Spectre full marks, with critic Kate Muir saying Craig’s latest outing is “achingly cool, as sleek and powerful as the silver Aston Martin DB10 that races through the movie”. That’s the biggest strain on a film like this, everybody is away from their families.
In Spectre we get a bit more of a glimpse into Bond’s life, as we see inside his house, with creating the correct look something Daniel himself was even involved in.
