‘Unacceptable’ first half dooms Colts against Saints
Coming off their most encouraging outing of the year in a competitive loss to the Patriots, the Colts offered up a pitiable effort against the Saints, falling to 3-4 overall – 1-4 with Andrew Luck at quarterback. But it fits for the whole season.

“That first half, the way that we played is unacceptable”. That fits for the whole season, too. “Quickly getting up to speed and quickly improving each week I think our younger players have done that”. About four or five times Sunday, the fans expressed their opinion with a loud chorus of boos. Their schedule is favorable and they are playing better.
Luck then stared down Hilton on a slant and then threw behind the receiver.
“I’d say I’m frustrated, I’d say as a unit we’re frustrated”, Luck said.
It’s what led to a heated conversation between owner Jim Irsay and General Manager Ryan Grigson in the locker room after the game. Or both. They might not fire Luck, but they’d like to dock his pay, for sure.
Luck started the game 0-5 with one interception. “As far as frustration towards each other or finger-pointing, there’s nothing like that”, Johnson said.
The Colts are 3-4 and perhaps the biggest disappointment in the NFL. With due respect to Luck, they’re might be a story beyond that. Davis went down late in the game and was helped off the field, but there was no word from the team on his condition. It does not look cohesive. The defense literally smothered Colts quarterback Andrew Luck for pretty much most of the game. Insane as it sounds, the Colts are 1-4 with Luck as a starter, and he’s only thrown 2 first-half touchdowns, forcing the team to play catch-up in the second half. But New Orleans also is responsible for rival Atlanta’s only loss this season. Payton said. “We made some improvements and we’re doing some things well and there are some things we have to clean up”. Miami’s four long scores in the first half were the most in at least 75 years, according to STATS. Grigson has been the Colts’ GM since 2012. They’ve won two straight games against the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans since making the move.
After the New Orleans Saints, a team that was 10-17 on the road since 2012, came into Indianapolis on Sunday and won 27-21, the questions continued to mount: Is winning the worst division in football every year enough to keep Pagano employed? It’s not a good sign for your franchise when the Buccaneers are considered more entertaining. We know we’re a good football team. There were a lot of regular Saints fans in my section, who were whooping it up New Orleans went up 27-0, but there were also a lot of Purdue shirts in attendance. “We’re more frustrated than anything”.
The Falcons host the rival Buccaneers, while the Panthers stay home to take on the 3-4 Colts.
Brees finished 28 of 44 with 255 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

“If I need to give guys advice, if I need to fight somebody, if I need to just give somebody counsel or just be a big brother”, Mathis said. Of course, back then social media wasn’t a thing so NBC had a bit of a breather before they could come up with an official apology. “That’s all bullcrap. It’s on us”. The defense played well at times, except for the start of the second half, when the Saints ran six plays (five of them runs), marched 82 yards and scored in less than three minutes. That’s about when FOX executives said, “Isn’t there a better game we could show?” Pagano called an onside kick and it would have worked if Moncrief’s tip of the ball had been grabbed by Colt Anderson.
