Channing Tatum Will Face Off Against Beyonce In ‘Lip Sync Battle’

E! News can also confirm Beyonce will make a special cameo appearance on the show when Channing performs one of her biggest hits.

Lip Sync Battle will return for Season 2 in 2016. Beyoncé and Channing abandoning the lip-sync premise entirely and teaming up to recreate the final dance from Step Up.

Season two will feature a husband and wife battle between Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum!

Will we see the pair resort to their old standbys, or will the contest provoke the most profound development in their artistic careers? The show was inspired by an ongoing skit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where, back in February, Will Ferrell gave his best rendition of Bey’s “Drunk in Love”.

Notable lip sync performances were between Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, and “Broad City’s” Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, as mentioned on Entertainment Weekly.

ET has confirmed that Beyonce will appear on an upcoming episode of Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle, where she will join Tatum during his performance.
