OnePlus X Rumored To Cost 1699 Yuan ($268), Pricey?

Still, if the FCC picture (shown above) proves correct, the OnePlus X could be quite the rapid departure from the OnePlus 2, opting for a much plainer handset that ditches the textured rear of its predecessor for a smoother, matt finish.

Last week, we told you about a juicy new OnePlus X leak that may have revealed its price. This image seems kinda legit, and it has the OnePlus X showcased on it (well, a part of it) along with the pricing info above the device.

How the OnePlus X will compare to the current OnePlus 2 or whether it will also require a special invitation in order to buy one is now unknown, as even OnePlus founder Carl Pei has been tight-lipped about the device.

OnePlus will take the wrappings off the phone this Thursday (October 29), and we’ll be on hand to cover the announcement. It must be noted that press invites sent out by the company also distinctly highlight the “X” moniker, so that’s that.

So far we’ve heard prices rumored below USD$250, but with no real certainty.

It looks like the OnePlus X will cost 1699 yuan (roughly $267), though the leaker also mentions a possible cheaper option for 1099 yuan ($173). Whether or not it would be sporting a physical home button (like the OnePlus 2) is a mystery for now as the image hides off the lower end of the phone.

Finally, the leaker rattles off a list of specs, including a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 16GB/32GB of storage.

OnePlus X might cost Rs 17,500
