LSU Jumps One Spot To #4 In Latest AP Top 25 Poll

The Rebels rebounded from last weeks upset at the hands of Memphis, defeating Texas A&M in convincing fashion on Saturday 23-3. They maybe gearing up for the stretch run towards consecutive Big Ten titles. The Bears won their seventh game of the season, while the Horned Frogs had their bye week. Unfortunately for Baylor, starting quarterback Seth Russell broke a bone in his neck.

Ohio St. remains the top team in the country again this week, followed by Baylor at number two.

The Tigers (7-0, 4-0 in SEC) defeated Western Kentucky 48-20 going into an open date this week in preparation for a huge SEC clash against Alabama November 7 in Tuscaloosa. The Tigers put a submission hold on Miami during a 58-0 victory on Saturday.

The Clemson Tigers are coming off of the biggest blowout victory of their season, and the AP Top 25 Poll is apparently all about that big win. Utah fell all the way to No. 13, behind undefeated teams Iowa (No. 10) and Oklahoma State (No. 12).

Stock up: Stanford. There wasn’t a whole lot of room for upward mobility, but the Cardinal made the most of their opportunity after taking care of Washington. LSU received one first-place vote for the fifth straight week in the coaches poll.
