Lewis Hamilton explains hat throwing incident with Nico Rosberg

“I just got wheelspin”. But while Hamilton can be regarded extensively for giving F1 one of its utterly dominating stints in the world of motorsports ever since he led and held the 2014 championship season on his own shoulders and made light work of the 2015 season, his own triumphs speak of an incessant desire to win, which isn’t an everyday occurrence in today’s Formula One grind.

A galling defeat for Rosberg against a fierce foe, the German expressed a sullen demeanour on the podium and in the immediate press conference, but even after a scathing critique of Hamilton for their turn one clash, Wolff was nonetheless sympathetic in the circumstances.

“That’s why I threw back the cap which he had tossed over to me, landing on my belly”.

“I guess when you come in after the race and are disappointed, the emotions are sometimes unbearable”, said Hamilton.

In the glow of his victory in Austin, Hamilton cheekily added: “It’s the worst thing being my team-mate”. I can’t explain it. It’s unbelievable.

“So the hat came past me and I was like, “No problem”. The auto feels very strong and I’m feeling great around here in any conditions, so I really look forward to the race”.

“I’m completely oblivious to it but I understand”.

The United States Grand Prix is a motor race which was introduced in the year 1908.

Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff said Hamilton had assured the team he had not banged into Rosberg on goal. Then, the party starts.

Rosberg said that after losing the race in the final moments with an inexplicable mistake, he wanted to be doing anything other than celebrate.

“It’s changed a lot this year. I don’t know”, he told reporters.

“I have been enjoying this year like it was my last”. “Absolutely disgusting! That’s how I felt after the race in America”.

Rosberg skipped much of the post-race celebrations at the circuit late on Sunday, but later joined in with a bout of rowdy karaoke singing at a team party in the city.
