According to the company, consolidated EBITDA at Rs 8,265 crore grew by 6.7 per cent YoY with EBITDA margin expanding by 0.8 per cent to 34.7 per cent, driven by India’s margin expansion by 1.6 per cent Y-o-Y. Force Motors Limited jumped 3.9% to ₹3,613 after the automobile components maker reported net in the second-quarter surged 65.3% from a year ago to ₹42.48 crore. For investors, this may be deja vu, considering the way tariffs on voice calls and realizations for telecom service providers crashed five years ago, impacting the sector’s profitability amid high debt.

Leading wireless carrier, Bharti Airtel reported slower revenues growth and the largest private sector housing loan lender reported weaker-than-expected earnings.
The operators initially set its capex for India and South Asia at Dollars 2.3 billion this year.
“The company’s consolidated revenues for Q2‟16 at Rs 23,836 crore grew by 6.6% (4.3 per cent reported Y-o-Y) on an underlying basis, adjusted for India termination rates reduction and Africa tower assets divestment over the corresponding quarter a year ago”, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
After three quarters of operating free cash flow, the company has recorded a cash burn of Rs 15.8 crore (Rs 158 million) during the second quarter. In the year-ago period, cash burn was at Rs 72.6 crore (Rs 726 million).
The company’s capital expenditure however, expanded almost 199% to Rs 22 crore in the second quarter from the earlier Rs 7.4 crore.
