Biden’s Exit Could Create Less Momentum For Democrats
Mr. Biden announced Wednesday that he won’t seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, ending months of speculation.

Biden told the gathered reporters on Wednesday that he had already warned – in a soul-bearing interview with Stephen Colbert’s show – that his family’s grief over the loss of Beau Biden could cause his window for a credible White House run to close.
“I don’t think we should look at Republicans as our enemies”, he said, tweaking Clinton for a comment she made at the first Democratic debate. For his part, energized by the buzz of his would-be candidacy, Biden said he wouldn’t be silent and positioned himself as a vocal defender of Obama’s record, offering candidates a playbook.
“We should give Obama and Biden credit for what they have accomplished, and understand that we need to go much further”, he said. “I’ve talked with both Governor O’Malley and the Senator Sanders constitutes and campaigners today so they obviously believe that they will pick up a few support from the lack of Joe Biden being in the race”, said Worley.
“I am absolutely certain that we fully are capable of accomplishing extraordinary things”.
Many pundits scored the Biden news as a victory for Clinton, whose national poll numbers typically strengthen when Biden is not included as a candidate.
Biden took issue with Hillary Clinton’s claims that her, and thereby the country’s, greatest enemies were the Republicans. “As the vice president probably knows better than most, if you’re going to win Iowa, you’ve got to be here early and you’ve got to be here often”.
“While Vice President Biden will not be a candidate next year, his unwavering commitment to America’s working families is a legacy each of our candidates will proudly carry forward”, Schultz said.
Rep. Lisa Heddens, D-Ames, is another local politician that supported the Draft Biden campaign.
Bauer said she didn’t believe that Biden’s decision would have much of an impact on the coming election or the discourse throughout the state. “Democrats should not only protect this record, or defend this record – they should run on this record”. -Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
Biden ran for president twice before; neither venture was successful.
Biden is more experienced and qualified than Hillary Clinton.

Biden’s decision is good news for Clinton, though she hardly has a lock on the nomination.
