Fans Create Real-Life Andy’s Room From Toy Story 3
At the Castro Theater Monday night, a long line of fans of all ages waited for a chance to meet the Pixar team who created the “Toy Story” characters. As in, I know (and love) a thing or two about Disney films. They did initially think that the movie would be a trilogy but with a few new ideas that came up, director and Pixar Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter is thrilled to make “Toy Story 4”.

The replica includes a bed bearing the same moon-shaped crescent, Andy’s red desk with detailed whiteboard to match and a dart board over the door.
If you remember at the end of “Toy Story 3”, Andy took a box full of toys to Bonnie’s house and introduces her to them. When I asked why they were planning to film their own recreation of the film, Morgan admitted, “Honestly, we wanted to purely because we thought it was ideal”. It definitely looks like “the room that most of us grew up wishing we had”, as The Pixarist writes. “It’s quite cozy in there”, Morgan told me. I mean, I can imagine it is pretty cool to wake up in Andy’s room every morning. By this time I’m 16 and I finally realise that Toy Story 3 was more than just my favourite film, it was actually kind of my life. He loves helping us out.
“Toy Story” was Pixar’s first feature film and the first fully computer-animated feature film, film society officials said.

With the recently announced delay of Toy Story 4, according to Entertainment Weekly, perhaps this recreated room will provide fans with a lasting dose of nostalgia to hold them over in the meantime. The McGrews are in the process of putting together a shot-for-shot live-action remake of Toy Story 3, matching each image from the original perfectly.
