Lakers News: LA Waives Jabari Brown, Keeps Metta World Peace
On Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced that the team had opted to waive Jabari Brown, which meant that Metta World Peace made that cut to be part of the final 15 roster spots for the 2015-16 National Basketball Association season. Sports, MWP could become an assistant coach in Tinseltown once he hangs up his sneakers.

It’s been well reported that World Peace has been a mentor towards 2014’s seventh overall pick Julius Randle.
The Lakers released World Peace after the 2012-13 season using the amnesty clause. Should the Lakers have kept Metta World Peace? “We got a ton of young guys”.
Looking forward, it is possible that the D-Fenders – the Los Angeles Lakers D-League affiliate – may be a landing spot for the Missouri product.
Brown, 22, showed a few ability toward the end of last season, scoring 32 points against Sacramento, but his game was a little one-dimensional.
“It was a very, very, very, extremely hard decision”, Scott said. Obviously Metta has that experience. “Talking to him [Thursday], he said he’s just gearing up for Wednesday”.
He won a championship alongside Kobe Bryant in 2010.

Scott anticipates that the 20-year veteran will be able to go through the entirety of Tuesday’s lighter practice. According to Scott, Huertas – who missed the first five preseason games due to a hamstring strain – felt bothered by it again a couple days ago, though Scott considers the point guard’s absence precautionary.
