The eight-point loss was the most one-sided of the season for the Ravens.

When a team starts 1-6 there are many reasons and outward projection of failure usually is the first stage in a losing season. The bye week then follows, and it can’t come soon enough. This team defense has to improve. Sure, it was another one-possession loss. Chandler Catanzaro missed a 55-yard field goal. Trailing by eight with 1:53 left in regulation, the Ravens needed to go 76 yards with a vocal Arizona crowd doing its best to assist their Cardinals. However, Jackson broke through and blocked the point, perhaps avenging his second-quarter mistake.
A 26-10 lead seemed comfortable before Bryant burst up the middle to block Drew Butler’s punt to set up the final Ravens touchdown. We shouldn’t have hit him there.
Another week, another close loss that could have just had easily gone the Ravens’ way instead of the opposite. Replays showed Urschel properly signaled to Torbert, but Ravens coach John Harbaugh said the referee told him he didn’t see it.
What looked to be a comfortable win ended in dramatic fashion for the home fans as Joe Flacco threatened to force overtime on the final drive, but Tony Jefferson intercepted a pass in the endzone to end the challenge from the Ravens.
Palmer completed 20 of 28 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns. He fumbled the ball on the kick return. Johnson landed on a Ravens defender on a tackle attempt without touching the ground, then paused before getting back to his feet to continue running. “We lost our phones…It was happening on and off throughout the game, but it got bad in the final drive”.
The schedule did not do the Ravens any favors this season.
This was nowhere near a flawless game for the Cardinals, but a win is a win.

It’s unclear at the moment what issue in Arizona caused the trouble. It’s a tough call made even worse because no other team has ever had a call like this go against them.
