Jack Sock, doubles partner Vasek Pospisil can’t overcome slow start at
However, Sock and Pospisil’s reign came to an end later on Monday when John Peers and Murray’s brother Jamie beat them in five sets.

Vancouver’s Vasek Pospisil’s next opponent in the Wimbledon singles competition will be either Scotland’s Andy Murray or Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic.
After rallying from two sets down to upset the number 22 seed Viktor Troicki 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 in a thrilling five-setter, the kid is headed into uncharted territory. “Pretty exhausted right now, but I have a day off tomorrow, so that’s good”. So I can sleep well tonight.
“But also maybe he’s a little bit tired”.
The brash 20-year-old looked in the groove when he broke in the opening game of the match, but Gasquet was unfazed, hitting back in the fourth game and going on to take the set with his second break. “Do a lot of recovery … then come out strong on Wednesday and take it to him”. “So I feel pretty fresh”.
Murray has beaten Pospisil in hard-surface tournaments at Rotterdam and Indian Wells this season, but said he is expecting a tougher challenge from Pospisil on grass.
A match on Court 12 ended in Murray and Peers triumphing 6-3 7-6 (8-6) 6-7 (5-7) 3-6 8-6 against Canadian Pospisil and his American partner Sock.
He’s hoping to become just the third Canadian to reach the men’s singles semifinals at Wimbledon.
While the casual fan probably has no idea, Pospisil actually reached number 25 in the rankings back in February 2014 and he is more than capable of holding his own against the vast majority of players in the world.
Gasquet, who made the semi-finals in 2007, will play French Open champion Stan Wawrinka or Belgian 16th seed David Goffin for a place in the last four.

There could be further pain at the hands of the Murray family for Pospisil, who has played Andy three times over the past 10 months and failed to win a set.
