Chelsea also crashed out of the Capital One Cup against Stoke on Tuesday (27 October) night.

Lampard, now at New York City, spoke on Tuesday after being given the Order of the British Empire, or OBE, by the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, reports Efe.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho’s constant spats with referees are tarnishing the image of the Premier League, according to the former general manager of Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) Keith Hackett.
But Lampard, who played under the Portuguese in west London, is backing him to turn the situation around. “I know the quality in the dressing room, I know the squad, I know people like John Terry and the desire to keep Chelsea up where they always are”. I know he’s the most successful manager in Chelsea’s history.
“They’ve had a hard start – we don’t expect that from Chelsea as they’ve set such high standards over the last 10 or 15 years, but I think they’ll come back”.
Bleakley posted a picture of the pair on to her Instagram account, captioning it: “Such a wonderful day at Buckingham Palace celebrating Frank receiving his #OBE”.
After the ceremony Lampard posed for pictures in the Palace’s forecourt for the waiting media, alongside other recipients of honours and their families.
The midfielder has had an illustrious career in the game and is Chelsea’s all-time top goalscorer with 211 goals before he agreed to join brand new Major League Soccer franchise New York City and spent time on-loan at Manchester City.
He captained Chelsea to a Champions League final victory in 2012 and with the club won four FA Cup winners medals and three Premier League title medals.

“To receive an award like this amongst a few very special people here in the military, people that are doing a lot of good work in charity – it was very humbling for me to be involved and to be amongst them”.
