Media Molecule’s Dreams getting a beta next year
Media Molecule (LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway) has shown how its interesting new game, Dreams, works with a live demo of the game in alpha state that included plenty of rat possession. Dreams will allow players to create their own playable spaces, complete with handmade objects, characters, and rule sets. What was even more unbelievable to hear is that all in-game assets are sculpted using the PlayStation 4 and Dreams creation tools.

A beta is planned for 2016. It showed a kind of directed or scripted puzzling experience we can presumably expect from a core Dreams experience before we start making things for ourselves. The thing that unites everything is the feeling of being in a dream.
It’s no secret that Media Molecule are a studio that loves exploring hardware! But it doesn’t end there; you’ll also be able to bring your creations to life by having them exported to 3D printers.
