Salem Witch Sues ‘World’s Best-Known Warlock’ For Harassment

A witch-a real witch! from Salem and everything!-is asking the courts to do what a bubbling cauldron full of nightshade and eye of newt apparently can not: keep a dastardly warlock from allegedly harassing her, reports the Associated Press.

Lori Sforza, a self-proclaimed high priestess who also owns a craft shop in Salem, claims that warlock Christian Day has been harassing her and calling her names. Day owns occult shops in Salem and New Orleans. Sforza and Day will meet in court on Wednesday.

Sforza said the “disrespect” has been going on for years.

A lawyer representing Mr Day declined to comment.

Sforza’s lawyer, Fiore Porreca, says his client lost customers at her witchcraft shop as a result of the harassment. In addition, he claimed that Day’s alleged harassment of Sforza has had a negative impact on her business in Salem. She has filed for court-ordered protection against Day and a judge in Salem District Court is scheduled to hear her arguments on Wednesday.

The two will fight it out in court today. They hit the headlines back in 2011, when they reportedly cast spells on actor Charlie Sheen after he called himself a “Vatican assassin warlock” during a TV interview.

Salem’s Festival of the Dead – which culminates in the Official Salem Witches’ Halloween Ball on Halloween night – was created by Mr Day in 2003 and has expanded to include a psychic and witchcraft fair and a seance.

Sforza claims to be a psychic and a clairvoyant, and a descendant of witches that healed bubonic plague victims.
