Flu vaccine is available through your local health unit.

Each clinic will be a walk-in clinic, Beaty said.
The Paris clinic will take place from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday at the First National Bank Community Center.
A pilot programme previous year showed vaccinating children had dual benefit; as well as protecting them from flu, it also protects others, such as parents, grandparents and siblings, as children are “super spreaders” and are much more likely to infect others.
The Cleveland County Health Unit of the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) will begin its clinics for flu vaccines this Friday, October 30, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.at the Cleveland County Health Unit, 409 East Magnolia Street in Rison.
Vaccinations will be administered in two forms, a shot or a nasal spray. It can cause mild to severe illness and at times can lead to death.
If you have insurance, the ADH will ask your insurance to pay for the cost of giving the vaccine.
“It puts the odds in your favor”, the governor said after his shot.
State health officials in Indiana are reporting the first flu related death of the season. Officials say although the death occurred early in the flu season, influenza activity is minimal in Indiana and around the country.
Toronto’s associate medical officer of health, Dr. Christine Navarro, said the city’s low vaccination rates mean vulnerable populations – young children, the elderly, and those with chronic conditions – are at higher risk of contracting the flu.

“Vaccination is the best tool we have to protect against the flu”, Navarro said.
