When asked what we could learn from James Bond, Craig’s simple response is, “Nothing”.
James Bond fans and those with a more critical eye have attended the “first ever” screenings of Spectre.
He reflected: “That’s what was on my mind, and I said what was on my mind”.
The interview abruptly ended and the show cut back to its presenters, who appeared unprepared as they sat slumped on the couch.
In the interview that is due to be aired tonight on BBC One, Graham asks Daniel if the guaranteed success of Spectre (and the huge amounts of money it is expected to bring in) are enough to get him to play James Bond again. The way he filled the shoes of the iconic Bond’s before him, they will have to do so for him.
“Stephen Dalton, The Hollywood Reporter: “(T)he final hour disappoints, with too many off-the-peg plot twists and too many characters conforming to type.
The buzz over Daniel Craig’s fourth and potentially last outing as the British secret agent with the 007 moniker started nearly as soon as the well-received “Skyfall” hit the screens back in 2012. “We’re done. All I want to do is move on”. “Can you go and show me it?” asked Powell.
And when Sarah told him he would have been “terrific” in the role, he replied: ‘Thank you, that’s what I think, but what can you do?
He said: “I’ve had my right shoulder re-constructed, my right and left knees operated on and my thumb hurts!”
Craig might come off as cranky, but he’s actually making a few salient points.
“We try to do stuff that we don’t think people have seen before, but having someone like Dave Bautista who spent most of his career being thrown around and throwing other people around, he really knows what he’s doing and he’s incredibly safe”. “Let’s not forget, he’s a misogynist”, he says bluntly.
