Tom Holland Plans on Taking Inspiration From Previous Spider-Man Films

While there are still a lot of questions as to how Holland’s Spider-Man will fit into “Captain America: Civil War”, fans will have to watch the movie to obtain answers. The actor admitted that the injury was due to his own mistake. Holland stated that he fell over and bashed his face in front of about two hundred crew members, but nothing serious happened about his condition since the accident.

He went on to explain that they filmed the scene anyway and it ended up looking great, although he suspects they’ll probably CGI out all the blood in post-production.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016, while Holland’s solo Spider-Man film is scheduled for July 28, 2017.

It is not sure as to how big a role Holland will play in Captain America Civil War, but it has been reported that he will be siding with Iron Man during his battles against Steve Rogers.

He says that it is impossible not to draw influences from the two previous actors who played the character before him.

In the meantime, Director Jon Watts is the main-man behind Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot and he appeared to be quite excited and enthusiastic about handling the popular franchise and then rebooting it into the world of Avengers. In fact, if Joe and Anthony Russo know what they are doing (and they usually do), they’ll incorporate the cuts and bruises into Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker.

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland star together in Ron Howard’s whaling saga, “In the Heart of The Sea”, which is out this December. Given that Vacation writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are writing the new Spider-Man, it would be easy to assume something more comedic, but it is only assumptions.

According to Screen Rant, Holland wasn’t able to divulge much about his involvement in “Captain America: Civil War”, but it does seem that Spiderman’s role in the film may be similar to what happened in the comics.

Both series showed how Peter Parker got his powers when he was bitten by a spider, although the spider in “The unbelievable Spider-Man” is a bit more powerful compared to the one in “Spider-Man” because it came from a lab experiment.
