The fourth and final instalment of the Batman Arkham series was released on June 23 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

It’s been quite a long road with many different DLC packs available to the consoles that include quite a few different costume packs and actual content. So it’s nice to see that Batman Arkham Knight is finally available in full for the PC, and actually runs quite well. For Windows 10 players, Warner Bros. says, “having at least 12GB of system RAM on a PC allows the game to operate without paging and provides a smoother gameplay experience”. For those who are yet to buy this game, there will be a second release in the coming week.

The game’s re-release has had an interesting effect on Steam reviews: users who bought the game before it got taken down are able to leave reviews on the game, as they could on any of their purchases.

“As thanks to the Steam Community, PC players will have access to the maps for a week before they hit the consoles”, WB added.

Three and a half months ago, publisher Warner Bros. released one of the most highly anticipated games of the year on PC, Batman: Arkham Knight, and it was such a broken mess that Warner Bros. pulled it.

Good news, Batman fans, the final installment in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight, is all polished up (presumably) and once again available on the PC. We’re actively working with our partners at Valve to make this happen as soon as we can, so watch your Steam Library. Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Origins and Arkham Origins: Blackgate will automatically appear in an valid Steam library – expect the games to arrive sometime this December.

And finally, Team Fortress 2 players will also receive Batman: Arkham inspired cosmetic items designed by the community. Winning items will go out to Arkham Knight owners on Steam.
