Restaurant chain debuts Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups-stuffed burger

A Canadian burger chain is stuffing Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups into its burgers. New Hampshire is partial to Tootsie Rolls, Vermont is craving Almond Joys, while Connecticut and Rhode Island prefer Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. But this new burger from Canada really takes the cake (burger?).

Miller says that taste testers “mouth-picked” this burger to be featured in the promotion.

The Works tweeted about their new burger on October 22 to celebrate National Nut Day, and it appears the burger is sticking around for a limited time.

It’s the kind of burger that you see on the menu and then go, “Mhmm… bacon cheeseburger, please”.

Each of the stuffed burgers costs $15.98 Canadian, which is about $12 US, or three geese and an amusing anecdote about Brendan Shanahan. Well there are mixed reactions.

“The PBC burger was delicious!”

“Shut up!” wrote one Facebook user on The Works Kanata Facebook page.

Remember that story on Monday linking processed and red meats to cancer?

“There’s only one Reese’s – unless you’re having two”, said a narrator in a Reese’s commercial.

And just in case that’s not enough Reese’s for you, you can order a complementary vanilla ice cream shake mixed with the peanut butter cups with your burger.

The burger will only be available until January 10.
