Pakistan Rangers violate ceasefire again: One BSF man dead in Kashmir’s Arnia

Unprovoked firings by the Pakistani forces and troops has made the villagers and residents of the villages along the global Border in R.S. Pura’s Arnia sector in Jammu and Kashmir to seek refuge leaving their ancestral property and permanent assets behind. They added that the Chenab Rangers “retaliated befittingly and silenced the Indian guns”.

Meanwhile, in another incident on Sunday morning, the armies of India and Pakistan traded heavy gunfire in Macchil sector of Kupwara district.

Pakistan also targeted three BSF posts and fired 25 to 30 rounds in the Arnia sector in Jammu.

“Indian troops retaliated effectively and firing exchanges in the area continued for several hours”, he added.

Apart from six Border Out Posts (BoPs), Pakistan Rangers resorted to firing of 82-mm mortar bombs, small and automatic weapons on civilian areas along worldwide Border (IB) throughout the night.
