Taylor Swift Countersues Alleged Groper Who Lost His Job

Taylor Swift filed a countersuit on Wednesday against a radio personality who sued her after he was sacked for allegedly groping her backstage at a concert, an accusation the man denies.

Following David Mueller’s suit against Swift in September – which claimed he was sacked from his job and banned from her concerts based on false allegations that he groped the pop star before a Denver concert two years ago – Swift is now striking back, People reports.

“Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault – it was Mueller – and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit”, the countersuit states.

The document says Swift wants a jury trial and that any damages awarded her will be donated to “charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard”.

Because of the nature of the incident, when word got back to Mueller’s place of work about what had transpired, he says he was sacked immediately, as TMZ reported.

Swift, who was “surprised, upset, offended, and alarmed”, informed her photographer, tour manager and members of her security team.

Mueller’s legal papers maintained he never acted inappropriately with Swift, and even suggested he was wrongly being blamed for another co-worker’s actions.

Taylor Swift just laid down the law… nobody grabs her ass and gets away with it… because she just countersued a radio DJ who claims she falsified a story about getting groped.

An attempt to reach Mueller’s attorney for comment on Wednesday night was unsuccessful. He said that, during a last-minute photo op, Swift put her arm around his shoulder. They added that Mueller did not merely brush his hand against Swift while posing for a photograph, but lifted up her skirt.

However, Taylor remains firm that it wasn’t his coworker – it was him who “improperly and inappropriately groped” her during the photo.

After this, Taylor then had to continue a several hour concert for 13,000 fans despite the fact she was shaken about being assaulted.
