Sanders says income inequality is a ‘moral issue’
Once he was elected to the Senate, Bernard Sanders has become a leading voice on issues like climate change, income inequality and campaign finance reform.

“They deserve a path to citizenship, and I believe that very strongly”, Sanders said.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the challenger with the most momentum, represents a state that’s 95 percent white, where Asian-Americans and multi-racial voters outnumber blacks.
The Clinton campaign is right to worry. Her 2008 rival in the Democratic presidential primary, Barack Obama, was nearby with a record more liberal than 82 percent of all members – he was not more liberal than Clinton. Once thought to be a long shot with little chance of giving Clinton much competition, Sanders is pulling in huge crowds in early states, creeping up in the polls and giving Hillary supporters something to think about, according to the New York Times. A Sanders victory could also further energize his fundraising base.
In other words, the Sanders surge is undeniable.
Sanders said in America, poor or middle class families often have to return to work if the parents can not afford unpaid leave from their jobs.
The Clinton campaign said last month it plans to outline economic policies proposals related to young black adults sometime this summer.
“We are anxious about him, sure”.
Even as Trump’s various enterprises are vanishing – and support among, I dunno, let’s call them “sane Americans” is waning – he has doubled down on comments that could as easily have been retracted with an apology. Clinton’s advisers, meanwhile, have deep experience pulling off upsets and comeback political victories, and Clinton often performs best when she is under pressure from rivals.
“Of course we’re anxious about him”. “He is doing well”. Paul launched his 2016 presidential campaign Tuesday with a combative message against both Washington and his fellow Republicans, declaring that “we have come to take our country back”. We knew this was going to happen… “It’s going to be a slog, but I feel like she will win and I feel like she will prevail”.
But one of the people who is standing out in a crowded field right now is Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. “You know, we have religious freedom and I respect people who have different points of view”.
Last month, Hillary Clinton addressed America’s youth unemployment problem in a speech at South Carolina’s Trident Technical College to a predominantly black crowd.
But Sanders downplayed the absence of endorsements by noting that Clinton has extensive ties to Democrats in Congress. This apparent certainty was off-putting for voters, particularly in Iowa, where Democratic caucus-goers relish the opportunity to upend conventional wisdom. But she also distances herself by campaigning as if she’s protecting a big lead – which she is – and wants to avoid offending anyone.
Since most major media outlets are owned by giant corporations, ideas that are popular among 40 to 90 percent of American voters have been termed radical in typical news reports.

Palmieri said that Sander’s performance in the early voting state is of particular concern to the Clinton camp.
